These Terms & Conditions define the general rules for using WIT{CH} and reflect the intended use of the platform in a Swiss context.
1. Scope of the platform
WIT{CH} is a platform intended to support women in and entering IT and Tech in Switzerland through mentorship, community spaces, career-path visibility, and access to relevant opportunities and resources.
2. User accounts
Some platform features require users to create an account and provide accurate information. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for activity carried out through their account.
3. Acceptable use
Users agree to use WIT{CH} respectfully and lawfully. This includes refraining from harassment, discrimination, abuse, unlawful content, or misuse of mentoring, group, or platform features.
4. Mentoring and community interactions
WIT{CH} may facilitate contact between users, mentors, and peer groups. However, the platform does not guarantee outcomes, compatibility, or professional results from individual interactions.
5. Opportunities and third-party content
WIT{CH} may display jobs, events, programmes, scholarships, or external resources. The platform does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or suitability of such third-party opportunities.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the platform's design, text, branding, and other original materials remain the property of WIT{CH} or its licensors and may not be copied or commercially reused without permission.
7. Privacy and data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the platform's Privacy Notice and the applicable Swiss data protection framework. Optional consent may be requested for anonymised product improvement use.
8. Availability and changes
WIT{CH} may update, change, suspend, or remove platform features, especially during testing and early product development phases.
9. Liability
WIT{CH} is provided on a best-effort basis. To the extent permitted by law, liability for indirect losses, unavailable services, or decisions made based on platform content is excluded.
10. Applicable law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law, subject to any mandatory legal provisions.
