Make non-linear paths visible
Many women do not enter IT and Tech through one obvious door. WIT{CH} shows the steps, detours, skills, and moments that make these paths real.
About WIT{CH}
WIT{CH} started from the lived experience of entering IT through business, HR digitalisation, application support, cloud projects, leadership, and community-building.
Bachelor thesis origin
The platform was built as part of Daniela Hager's Bachelor thesis in the BSc International IT Management.
The goal is to translate research and lived experience into a focused platform for women in IT and Tech in Switzerland.

Founder story
Daniela did not start with a straight-line technical career. Her path moved from Matura, waitress work, and business administration into HR digitalisation, application support, cloud projects, IT management studies, team leadership, and finally WIT{CH}.
Why it exists
Many women do not enter IT and Tech through one obvious door. WIT{CH} shows the steps, detours, skills, and moments that make these paths real.
The platform is designed around practical action: find a mentor, explore a career path, join a community space, or discover a relevant opportunity.
Visibility, mentorship, and community only work when people feel safe. WIT{CH} puts moderation, privacy, and clear expectations into the product itself.
What WIT{CH} does
WIT{CH} connects women, STEM initiatives, companies, mentors, and regional opportunities across the Swiss IT and Tech ecosystem.
