WIT{CH}

Code of conduct

A community where women can grow without performing safety.

WIT{CH} is built for women in IT and Tech in Switzerland to find mentorship, community, role models, and opportunities with clarity and trust. This code of conduct explains how we protect that space.

01

We make room for different starting points.

Some members are entering IT and Tech for the first time. Others are senior, returning after a break, changing field, or giving back. No one has to prove they belong before they are treated with respect.

02

We speak with care, even when we disagree.

Curiosity is welcome. Dismissiveness, harassment, personal attacks, discrimination, or pressure are not. Feedback should help someone move forward, not make them smaller.

03

We protect privacy and boundaries.

Do not share private messages, personal information, mentor details, screenshots, or career-sensitive stories outside WIT{CH} without clear consent.

04

We keep opportunity-sharing transparent.

Jobs, events, partnerships, mentorship offers, and recommendations should be labelled honestly. Hidden recruiting, spam, and misleading claims do not belong here.

What happens in practice

Safety is a workflow, not a slogan.

Moderators can hide or remove posts that cross community rules.
Members can report posts, comments, or behaviour that feels unsafe.
Mentorship should have clear expectations, consent, and an easy way to pause or end.
Repeated boundary-crossing can lead to restricted access or removal.
